SHOULD ISRAEL CHALLENGE U.N.E.S.C.O. IN THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE (ICJ) AT THE HAGUE? THE IDENTITY THEFT OF ISRAEL BY "PALESTINE" ...

... WESTERN FAILURE TO PERCEIVE THE TRUE NATURE OF THE ARAB-ISRAELI CONFLICT, WESTERN FAILURE TO PERCEIVE THE TRUE NATURE OF THE GREEK FINANCIAL CRISIS, AND WESTERN FAILURE TO PERCEIVE THE GERMANY-TURKEY-IRAN-CHINA AXIS.

THE FUTURE IS NOW AT THE U.N.

UNESCO is the United Nations Educational and Cultural Organization. The World Heritage Committee is one of the bodies of UNESCO and it names international world heritage sites. Can a State be a world heritage site? So, by admitting the "State of Palestine" to be a UNESCO Member, is it UNESCO that has authority above and beyond the UNGA and the UNSC to recognize and grant Statehood at the UN? Therefore, alternatively, for example could UNESCO rant the historical Land of Israel status as both a world heritage site and as a State? Is "Palestine" actually Israel (precedent of history says, "Yes")? Or is "Palestine" a budding Arab State with a Capitol in "Palestinian East Jerusalem (UNESCO says, "Yes")? Is history a reality decided by whim of UESCO? How ironic it is, that UNESCO, which is the UN body established to advance the world through knowledge, is now politicized to the extent that it's mission and legacy are in jeopardy.

NULLIFICATION: THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE is the proper venue by which to put and end to this insidious move by the PAL and the UN General Assembly via UNESCO. The State of Israel has standing to go to the ICJ and seek nullification of the presumably illegal decision of UNESCO to admit the PAL as a full Member. The PAL is not a State having UNGA or UNSC (UN Security Council) recognition. It should be legally undeniable at the ICJ to establish the profound presumption by UNESCO to grant Membership to a body (e.g. PAL or any such body) that is not a Member Nation of the UN.

"Palestine" already exists at UNESCO and has the status of Permanent Observer. Now is the time for Israel not only to seek judicial means for the nullification of the ill-fated decision by UNESCO to unilaterally elevate the PAL to the status of Member State, but, to also strike down the prior UNESCO decision to grant the PAL the status of Permanent Observer.

IDENTITY THEFT BY THE ARABS OF THE NAME "PALESTINE".

It is also long overdue for Israel to petition the UN and/or to seek an ICJ decision to nullify the PAL from all use of the designation "Palestine" or "Palestinian" as the formal designation by which it is recognized in the world and in world governmental bodies. Such usage constitutes

denial of the historical identity of Jews as Palestinian and of the State of Israel as the historical territory of Palestine. Palestine is the specific name imposed on Israel under ancient Roman Occupation. Certainly the PAL and PLO do not seek the liberation Jews, and their usage of the word "liberate" is a euphemism for the word "steal". By allowing the Arabs to usurp Israel's other name -- Palestine -- the world (including Israel) enables the identity theft and ultimately the territorial theft of Israel by the Arabs.

Also, by allowing the Arabs to usurp from Israel the name "Palestine", the world (including Israel) falsifies the Arab-Israeli Conflict into an Israeli-"Palestinian" Conflict. With the exception of the fragile recognitions of Israel by Egypt and Jordan, no other Arab States recognize Israel. In fact many of these Arab States are still in the same formal "state of war" with Israel that they have waged against the State of Israel since 1948. These Arab States have neither recognized Israel since it's inception nor have they ended their warfare against Israel.

If the world has failed to speak about this, if the world therefore is unconscious of the fact that the 1948 War of Independence is not yet ended, if the world fails to hold the Arab States responsible and culpable for their incessant efforts to annihilate Israel, if the world fails to regard the actions of the PAL, Hamas, and Hezbollah, etc. as the tip of the Arab War of Annihilation Against Israel, then the world fails to perceive the enormity of the Arab-Israeli Conflict, and the world fails to perceive the enormous insidiousness of the UNESCO decision to admit the PAL as a Member State.

UNESCO (PROXY FOR THE UNGA) THUMBS IT'S NOSE AT THE USA AND EUROPE.

Failing to perceive or acknowledge the true nature of the Arab-Israeli Conflict, the world also fails to perceive or acknowledge the abuse of Israel [by the anti-democratic, anti-Western forces at the UN, notably China, Africa, Arabia, Muslim Asia, and Latin America] designed to (a) drive a wedge between Israel and the the West, and (b) diminish the influence of the West and most especially of the USA at the UN. By this vote at UNESCO THE UN General Assembly has thumbed it's nose at the West and at the USA.

The UNGA has thumbed it's nose at Western political and financial influence. This is huge. And the conversation in the West fails to perceive and acknowledge this reality, even as the West fails to perceive and acknowledge that the Greek Financial Crisis is the fulcrum for the Neo-Ottoman aspirations of Turkey.

Chinese money, material resources, and political resources have well-funded and well-ordered the anti-Western political alignments that plague Western integrity, stability, and security. Look at any map of Europe and the Middle East, and one may perceive by simple geography and by the exposure and centrality of Germany and Turkey, that Greece is being squeezed by the Germans and the Turks, both backed by Chinese money.

IRAN

It is no accident that Iran is now in the cross-hairs of Western military sights and that Israel will likely deliver the "message". Nor is it accidental that the West is being quite public about this imminent action. Unlike Israel's unilateral and secretive action in 1976 in which Israel destroyed Iraq's nuclear reactor, the current mission against Iran's nuclear facilities will be public and no surprise to anyone, and it will have the tacit and perhaps even the official backing of the West (or at least of the USA).

Iran is the primary transfer point between China and Turkey. Turkey is the primary transfer point between China and Germany. This Axis Alignment must be dealt a permanent blow.

The dual threat of Iran, as an hostile nuclear power and as the linch pin in the Germany-Turkey-Iran-China Axis, may not stand, if the West is to survive and to flourish.

World problems in Africa and in Latin America also stand no chance of reasonable resolution, as long as the growing GTIC Axis is not broken up.

Cogent action now is more likely to be effective and less costly in every way than action in the future, as the goal for the future is to stabilize influences for peace in the world and to enable the world to focus on the larger issues of international economic and environmental security.

OF CHINESE WATER TORTURE, THE "STATE OF PALESTINE", AND "PALESTINIAN FREEDOM FLOTILLAS".

FREEDOM FLOTILLA" INTERCEPTED BY ISRAEL -- NO PHYSICAL VIOLENCE ...

... and yet the incident is one more propaganda exercise that the ignorant world weighs in favor of the Arabs. As long as the world (including Israel) accepts the terminology referring to Arabs exclusively as Palestinians, then analogous to Chinese water torture, each time the name "Palestine" is solely applied to the Arabs -- controverting the historical synonymity of Palestine with Israel -- then the Jewish right to it's homeland is undermined and Israel's rightful existence is called into question. Each time a "Freedom Flotilla" makes it's way towards Gaza and is intercepted by Israel, this propaganda "water torture" against Israel continues. Chinese water torture is the method by which a prisoner is immobilized and drop by drop and then stream by stream, water is applied to the prisoner's forehead, driving the prisoner insane. In this case Israel is the prisoner.

"DEUTSCHE WELLE" SPEAKS OF "PALESTINIAN EAST JERUSALEM".

Today's "Deutsche Welle" Broadcast on NPR (National Public Radio) reported on the subject of the UNESCO vote to recognize and include "Palestine". The reporter concluded her report by saying, "Reporting from Palestinian East Jerusalem...." Here again we see the propaganda effectiveness of the misuse of the designation "Palestine" by which Arab East Jerusalem will more and more be spoken of in the media as "Palestinian East Jerusalem".

This is a most perverse application by the Arabs of the universal wisdom, "From Thought, to Speech, To Action". Failure to intelligently meet this perversion grants ultimate victory to Israel's enemies.

THE MORE THINGS CHANGE, THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME

BACK TO THE FUTURE: WILL TURKEY RULE SYRIA AND LEBANON? WILL EGYPT RULE GAZA? WILL JORDAY RULE JUDEA-SAMARIA? AGAIN???

AN ALL TOO LIKELY CONSEQUENCE OF THE SO-CALLED "ARAB SPRING" IS A "BACK TO THE FUTURE" SCENARIO IN TERMS OF MIDDLE EAST POLITICAL GEOGRAPHY.

Until the Brittish occuppied "Palestine" circa World War One, it was the Turks who ruled and called the territory inclusive of Israel, Lebanon, and Syria by the name "Syria".

In 1948 Jordan invaded and occupied Judea-Samaria, preventing a UN sanctioned call for a "State of Palestine" from being realized into existence alongside the newly recognized State of Israel. Also in 1948 Egypt invaded and occupied Gaza, some of which at the time was the legal property of Jews.

Egypt remained in Gaza until Israel kicked out the Egyptians in the 1956 Sinai Campaign, and Jordan remained in Judea-Samaria until Israel defeated the Jordanians in 1967 in the Six Day War.

If Assad and Alawite power (however cruel) should fail in Syria, then it must be considered that Turkey -- even while Turkey itself is in the midst of a Sunni shakedown/reformation of it's famed secular military -- could step in to stabilize the situation in Syria.

If Hamas and the various Gaza terrorist groups continue to terrorize Israel (simultaneously placing Egypt itself at risk, and using Egypt so blatantly and embarrassingly as an uncontrolled terrorist operations base), then it must be considered that Egypt -- even as it seeks to reform it's own Government amidst internal unrest -- could step in to stabilize the situation in Gaza.

If unrest causes the Palestinian Authority to lose it's grip in Judea-Samaria, then Jordan -- even while already struggling with it's own population's unrest, which includes two-million Iraqi refugees -- could step in to stabilize the situation in Judea-Samaria.

Is it "Back to the Future" for Israel -- a Turkish border to the north/northeast, an eastward inwards-denting Jordanian border including East Jerusalem and Judea-Samaria, and an expanded Gaza-inclusive Egyptian border to the south?

Will Israel be faced with Western pressure to surrender the Golan and the Sheva Farms in order to make a peace deal with an expanded Turkey?

Will Israel be faced with Western pressure to see Gaza completely under Egyptian domain?

Will Israel be faced with Western pressure to surrender East Jerusalem and Judea-Samaria to Jordan? There are already Israeli's. who favor such a deal with Jordan.

Today marks Five-Years-and-FIfty-Two-Days in the Captivity of Gilad Shalit.

GILAD SHALIT -- FIVE YEARS OF SOLITARY CONFINEMENT IN GAZA.

SHABBATH MARKED FIVE YEARS OF CAPTIVITY IN SOLITARY CRUEL CONFINEMENT FOR GILAD SHALIT.

Ban Ki Moon -- UN Secretary-General -- is publicly lobbying Hamas to release Gilad Shalit.

Nicholas Sarkozy (President of France) and Angela Merkel (Chancellor of Germany) have jointly and publicly called on Hamas to release Gilad Shalit.

Throughout Israel marches and demonstrations have called for Hamas to release Gilad Shalit.

There are still efforts to press Israel to swap 1000 living murderous terrorists from Israeli jails in exchange for Gilad, even by those mentioned above.

Why is it that this is an acceptable equivalence in the eyes of the world?

Gilad Shalit's captivity -- utterly alone and forbidden visitation by his father, his mother, by even the Red Cross -- is a metaphor for the State of Israel. The humanitarian needs of Gilad Shalit are the humanitarian needs of Israel. Murderous Arabs would do to Israel, what they have done to Gilad Shalit and to every Israeli and Jewish prisoner they have held (which is reason to believe that Gilad Shalit may well already be dead).

AT THIS VERY MOMENT ANOTHER MUCH LARGER SO CALLED "PEACE FLOTILLA" IS TAKING SHAPE UNDER TURKISH AUSPICES TO PROVOKE ANOTHER INCIDENT OF VIOLENCE WITH ISRAEL AND TO TEST ISRAEL'S NAVAL DEFENSES AND POLITICAL ACUMEN.

AT THIS VERY MOMENT ISRAEL'S EILAT BEACHES ARE IN THE MIDST OF CLEAN-UP EFFORTS FROM A MYSTERIOUS DOUBLE OIL SPILL FROM TWO TURKISH VESSELS.

AT THIS VERY MOMENT DELTA AIRLINES HAS ENTERED INTO AN INTERLINE BOOKING AGREEMENT WITH SAUDI ARABIAN AIRLINES. SAUDI ARABIAN AIRLINES DISCRIMINATES AGAINST JEWS AND ISRAELIS AND AGAINST CHRISTIANS AND OTHERS AS WELL.

MAY THE WORLD WAKE UP FROM IT'S SLUMBER AND SEE THE TRUTH FOR WHAT IT REALLY IS, AND MAY THE WORLD CEASE IT'S EVILS -- WHETHER IT IS TURNING A BLIND EYE TO THE TRUTH, OR WHETHER IT IS GIVING DELIBERATE SUPPORT TO TERRORISM AGAINST ISRAEL.

MAY THE ARABS BE INSPIRED BY THE COMPASSION OF GOD AND COMMENCE A TRUE PEACE PROCESS BY UNCONDITIONALLY FREEING GILAD SHALIT TO A SAFE RETURN HOME TO ISRAEL.

NOW IS THE TIME FOR ISRAEL TO FORMALLY AND PUBLICLY ANNEX (OR, REAFFIRM ANNEXATION OF) THE GOLAN, SHEVA FARMS, JUDEA-SAMARIA, AND JERUSALEM.

THESE ANNEXATION ANNOUNCEMENTS SHOULD BE GIVEN BEFORE THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY BY PREMIER BENYAMIN NETANYAHU THIS COMING TUESDAY, APRIL 5, WHICH IS ROSH CHODESH NISSAN 5771, AND SHOULD BE ANNOUNCED IN HONOR OF GILAD SHALIT, WHO HAS BEEN IN SOLITARY CAPTIVITY BY HAMAS NOW FOR 1,769 DAYS. THE DECISION TO PROCEED WITH THESE ANNEXATIONS SHOULD BE A PRE-EMPTIVE RESPONSE BY ISRAEL PRECIPITATED BY THE APPARENTLY INEVITABLE DECISION COME THIS SEPTEMBER BY THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO RECOGNIZE A "STATE OF PALESTINE" INCLUSIVE OF JUDEA-SAMARIA, EAST JERUSALEM, AND GAZA (AS REPORTED TODAY IN THE THE NEW YORK TIMES).

By ganging up on Israel, resolution after resolution, decade after decade, the UN has already waged war de facto on Israel; any decision by the UN to recognize a State of Palestine would represent an utterly outrageous, provocative, precipitous additional act of de facto war by the UN against Israel.

The United Nations presumes to act as a World Government. This is not it's purpose nor mandate. Similarly, the World Court presumes to world jurisdiction, which is also not it's mandate, nor is it so recognized, certainly not by the USA nor Israel. World Court decisions against Israel declaring the Security Fence illegal and defining specific territories as "Palestinian lands under Israeli occupation" form pretexts that favor Israel's enemies; these World Court decisions have no sustaining legal basis, nor do they serve the purpose of peace.

May Israel have the foresight, integrity, strength, and endurance to withstand the evils of the United Nations. May the USA and all free nations of the world come to full sensibility and means by which to return the United Nations to the mandate of it's chartered purpose: the encouragement between nations of civil discourse and of civil problem resolution.

20 MURDERS (INCLUDING 2 BEHEADINGS) IN AFGHANISTAN UNDERSCORE THE TERRIBLE SEVERITY BY WHICH JIHADISM DRIVES WORLD CONCESSIONS TO ISLAMIC TERROR

AND REGARDLESS OF THE LACK OF WISDOM IN THE DECISION BY A FLORIDA PREACHER TO BURN A KORAN, THE 'POT', HAVING CALLED THE 'KETTLE', "BLACK", HAS YET FINGERED THE INTRACTABILITY OF JIHADISM.

Not so long ago with respect to the proposal to build a Muslim Center merely two blocks away from Ground Zero, President Obama distinguished between the "right" to build the Center and the "wisdom" of actually building it. So, too, the Florida Pastor of the 'Dove Outreach Center' displayed a profound lack of wisdom in burning a Koran. His right to do so provides the bas relief by which to perceive the stupidity and precipitousness of his acting-out of that right.

And so an excuse was given to Afghani Jihadis -- be they Taliban, Al-Quaeda, or some other group or mob -- for the murders of UN staff in Afghanistan. This is the type of "justification" for hatred and murder that plays into Jihadi hands. Not that they would cease such hateful, murderous, extortive behavior; they themselves incite, provoke, and thrive on such activity by which in the realm of propaganda, they obtain the appearance of justification for their murderousness.

That Christianity also has it's "crusaders", who are just as intolerant and murderous as Jihadis, does not excuse nor justify nor mitigate the real and present danger to the world that exists so militantly in the form of Jihadism today. Perhaps it is the stunning daily failure of the media to vociferously report the extremes of terror perpetrated by Jihadism against all non-Muslims that enables Jihadism to spread and that pushes some preachers today to extremes they otherwise would not even entertain.

Whether it is the burning of Bibles, the tortures, rapes, murders, destruction of Churches, and forced homelessness of Christians; whether it is the destruction of statues of the Buddha, Buddhist Holy Places, and Buddhists themselves; whether it is the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit, the firing of rockets into Israel from Gaza, the bus bombings in Israel, etc.: the bottom line is that Jihadism has no room in it's mind nor heart nor soul for the peace of the world. It is long overdue that the world cease to make excuses for the evils of Jihadism; it is long overdue that the world deliver a quick and undeniable destruction to Jihadis and to Jihadism.

ARABIA WILL MAKE PEACE WITH ISRAEL AT IT'S PLEASURE.

MANY WILL SAY THAT THIS IS A ROMANTIC NOTION...

... but, the many should consider that the Arabs are human beings, stereotyped in the West as "towel heads", "camel jockeys", and even more vulgar terms of reference; and this type of attitude towards Arabia serves to foment violence and hatred amongst the Arabs, playing into the hands of the worst elements in Arab society. It is one thing to be intensely critical and quite another to be arrogant, derisive, and disparaging. At bottom humanity can do well to take a step back from the "earthquakes, tsunamis, and nuclear meltdowns" (if I may make a metaphor based on the horrible triple catastrophe current in Japan) of decades of violence, propaganda, posturing, etc. and reconsider the realities.

There have been times in history that Jews have thrived in Muslim realms. This has not been true in recent history. Yet, recent history need not be the only barometer nor predictor of Jewish-Arab relations. As Arabs in Judea-Samaria and Gaza protest and call for unity between Hamas and Fatah in order to fight Israel -- a microcosm perhaps at the heart of much of the protests current throughout the Arab world -- it should be kept in mind that the Arabs and all Muslims need to be reminded of their own best teachings about the Peoples of the Book (Jews and Christians) and the Muslim obligation to be protective.

While it is true that in classic form this has meant second class status and special taxes for Jews and Christians, and that in history this obligation has been practiced both benignly and malevolently, it should be possible in todays world for an application of this practice to be developed by Muslims such that overt subjugation and denial of equality may be set aside. Even the ceding of land to enable Israel to live in peace inclusive of Judea-Samaria ought to be practicable and desirable -- as long as it is granted that this be done at the pleasure and free will of Arabia. Such generosity would necessarily include the paid resettlement and future security of up to two-thirds of the Muslim population currently under Israeli jurisdiction, as for reasons of language, culture, economics, and the upheaval of relocation, it would yet be preferable to this population to live under Arab jurisdiction, and may well be acceptable, if again such generous surrender of claim in Israel were voluntary in the name of Peace.

ANOTHER ASSASSINATION IN PAKISTAN IN THE NAME OF JIHAD, AND UNREST AND REVOLUTION THROUGHOUT THE WORLD OF ISLAM.

TUNISIA, EGYPT, LIBYA, ALGERIA, JORDAN, BAHRAIN, OMAN, YEMEN -- NAME A MUSLIM NATION AND THERE IS PROFOUND UNREST AND INTOLERANCE, AS SYMBOLIZED ONCE AGAIN IN PAKISTAN, WHERE A SECOND MINISTER WAS ASSASSINATED FOR THE SAKE OF HIS COURAGEOUS STANCE AGAINST RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE.

At a most basic level the ubiquitous unrest has demographic. economic, religious, and political roots. all of which factor into uncertain outcomes. In the majority the ordinary people seek human dignity, meaningful lives, political, religious and economic freedoms -- ergo, they seek a future for themselves and for their families; they do this against a backdrop of religious intolerance, political dictatorship, and economic conditions that are as bleak as the endless desert sand dunes surrounding the limited arable land and fresh water that make possible any life at all.

Thousands of lives have already been lost in these upheavals, and more will continue to be lost. At question is: how many, for how long, and with what short term and long term consequences. As Winter commences to end and as Spring commences to break ground, will unrest in this vast desert of nations surrounding Israel lead to stable solutions soon enough and happily enough to avoid major wars and major warfare -- including another war against Israel in the heat of Summer? Conditions are ripe for unified scapegoat warfare against Israel as a means for these nations of unrest to seek blame and vent anger on Israel in order to divert attention from the domestic issues that severely challenge these nations.

May Peace break out in the world speedily and in our time!

AND THE PRESSURE ON ISRAEL KEEPS BUILDING AND BUILDING AND BUILDING....

(NEVER MIND THE INCREASING HYPOCRISY OF EUROPEAN AND AMERICAN ATTEMPTS TO DEAL WITH BEING THREATENED AND OVERRUN BY ARAB MUSLIMS).

Today is Lag B'Omer, one hopes for a reprieve from the horrendous sins of omission and commission with respect to Israel by it's so-called allies from the USA to Europe, etc. Is it so much to ask, especially given the nature of the horrendous, cruel video cartoon published by Hamas last week ridiculing Gilad and Noam Shalit, for the nations of the world internally and for the United Nations General Assembly to pass resolutions condemning Hamas for that video cartoon and asking for the immediate, safe, and unconditional release of Gilad Shalit?

Has the world gone completely mad, or just plain evil, failing to perceive that it is Israel and not the Arabs, who are the primary victims of hatred, human rights abuses and aggression?

Today, Lag B'Omer, is day 1428 into the captivity of Gilad Shalit, alive or dead, probably dead. There is no sign of the Arabs showing any remorse for their evil. Let them show remorse and compassion or let them be destroyed. Let it be their choice.

WHY DOES GREAT BRITAIN ESPECIALLY HAMMER ISRAEL WITH FRAUDULENT PROPAGANDISTIC NOMENCLATURE SUCH AS "ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED" AND "ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS"?

FOR A NATION THAT PUBLICLY SPEAKS OF ITSELF AS ISRAEL'S "ALLY", BRITAIN CALLS TO THE JEWISH MIND THE APHORISM, "WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE, WHO NEEDS ENEMIES?" THE SAME CAN BE ESPECIALLY SAID OF EUROPE TODAY AND OF MUCH OF THE WORLD AND CERTAINLY OF HILLARY CLINTON, JOSEPH BIDEN, AND PRESIDENT OBAMA. BUT, WHAT IS IT, THAT MAKES THE VITRIOL OF THE BRITISH SO UNRELENTING, WAR-LIKE, MEGALOMANIACAL, AND PUZZLING?

It was not so long ago historically that Britain occupied what it chose to call "Palestine" after the name "Syria Palestina" given to that part of the world by the Romans during Rome's Middle East occupation. The British extended the term to apply to the territory eastwards of the Jordan River, which territory it referred to as "Transjordan". The British won this territory during WW1 [World War 1] by defeating the Syrians and Turks, who were allied with Germany. The underlying conflict was largely about oil supply for the war and long term oil rights in general in addition to the customary violence pertaining to political spheres of influence.

The British like to see themselves as being on the forefront of the historical fight for freedom, liberation, and liberty. Other nations tend to see them as elitists and imperialists. To be sure, the truth encompasses both aspects. Even the British, with their reputation for coldness and correctness, achieving at times an emotionless mechanical quality coupled with talent for great thespianism (witness Parliament), do actually have feelings and emotions like other people do. One suspects that the great bombing of London by the Germans during the early stages of WW2 (World War 2) may have had more than a little to do with the stereotypical subdued personality of Britain. One suspects as well that such phenomenon as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Animals, Monty Python, and "Keeping Up Appearances" and "Are You Being Served" are all representative of the once and great Empire that was Britain, struggling to be itself again after the great bombing of London and all that the British suffered during WW2.

Whether as imperialist or as grand patriarch reticent to leave the "children" on their own, the British cannot have felt thrilled to have been targeted by their "Jewish" and "Arab" children for guerilla warfare bent on freedom and independence. However pernicious and inhibiting BRITISH OCCUPATION may have felt to the Jews and the Arabs, the British Patriarchy must have thought and represented their hegemony to be for the regional good and for the good of the Peoples within, however evolutionarily backwards the Brits may have regarded those Peoples to be.

Anyone, who has ever freed a trapped animal, knows that he or she must protect him or her self from the flailing and rage of the animal while it is trapped, and then from the possible venting of that rage on anything or anyone nearby, once that animal has gained it's freedom. Any parent knows that at some point a child has to grow up -- preferably on his or her own and out of the house. The troubles of an occupier are that an occupier rarely has the good instinct of a human freeing an animal, who knows when and how to set that animal free without getting into conflict with it, and an occupier tends to think of that which is occupied as Home of the Occupier. A parent may kick a child out of the house or give the house to the child; but, it is the right of the parent to choose and execute, not the other way around.

So, how dare these backwards, retrograde "Peoples" -- these Jews, these Arabs -- kick the Brits out of their "Home"! And, how dare these "Peoples" have such respective power today, even be they enemies! The Arabs with all their oil, the Jews with their spiritual and military might! How dare they challenge the Enlightenment brought to them and to the World by Great Britain! By Europe! By the USA!

So, segway to Palestine. The Brits know that the Arabs want to kick the Jews into the Mediterranean Sea. All the world knows that the Arabs want to kick the Jews into the Mediterranean Sea. The Brits know that there was never a People called "Palestinians" and never a State called "Palestine" and that it is completely a fabrication of British foreign policy to do so -- as does the rest of the world know this. The Brits know that Israel, as a political entity, has an identity going back thousands of years, including more than two-thousand years of foreign occupation. It was Israel that decisively motivated Britain to depart from it's occupation of the Holy Land after the close of WW2. So, revendfully, Britain targets Israel -- with it's BBC propaganda machine most especially -- framing Israel as "illegal occupier".

Use by the BBC of such loaded and biased nomenclature as: "Palestine" to refer to a non-existent state of [militant] Arabs, "settler" to refer to Jews building homes in their homeland [e.g. Jerusalem], "illegal settlers" to refer to Jews building homes in their historical homeland [e.g. Judea-Samaria], "illegal occupation" to refer to the presence of the Israeli military wherever there is disputed territory and wherever in those territories the Israeli military presence is essential for Israeli self-defense and for maintaining peace between the various Arab factions and for maintaining law and order -- all of that responsible Israeli behavior is derided and decried by the British, and one tool for this is the unrelenting use of fraudulent language to bully Israel with propaganda.

In their misguided vindictiveness the British pound and hammer Israel with propaganda, day after day, year after year, conducting their own "propaganda bombing" campaign against Israel analogous to the bombing Britain received from Hitler's Luftwaffe! Is it possible that the British tacitly think in the irrational mode that somehow, were it not for the Jews, that the bombing of London might never have happened? Is it possible, however ironically, that after sixty-years of freedom from the Nazis, that now the British are behaving like freed animals, lashing out at their most vulnerable ally and indirect liberator, Israel?

Indeed the media is replete with the idea that somehow "peace" in Israel between the Jews and the Arabs would be like oil on the troubled waters of other Arab or other Muslim nations at war! There is ugly anti-semitism behind such thinking, not merely the historical record of war and terror from Africa and the Middle East all the way to Asia, East Asia, and Indonesia, and from Arabia into Europe and across the Atlantic to the USA; there is also great strategic stupidity in such thinking.

Media fraud to propagandize against Israel by the British must not go unnoticed and must not be ignored by the British justice system, by the court of world opinion, and by an appropriate world court, even the Hague, if such an appropriate world court exists. This is not only true of Britain, it is also true in the media of Europe as a whole, as in these times Britain and Europe seek to rid themselves of the guilt of their own history by once again using the Jews as Scapegoat, by waging media wars of propaganda and fraud against Israel.

It is legitimate for the media to report activities that occur in "disputed territories;" it is illegitimate to refer to the disputed territories as "illegally occupied" or "illegally settled". It is legitimate to refer to the building of homes for Jews -- if such building is indeed within the confines of the Arab East Jerusalem -- as occurring within Arab East Jerusalem or the Arab Quarter of Jerusalem; it is illegitimate to refer to the Arab Quarter as "illegally occupied East Jerusalem. And so on, when reporting on such disputed territories as Sheba Farms, the Golan, Judea-Samaria [the "West Bank"], and Gaza.

And, there is a real occupation that ought to be addressed immediately by the world. It is the occupation of the soul of Gilad Shalit, 1,372 days captive today by Hamas, Hamas being Arab descendants of Arab allies to the Nazis. Today is DAY 1,372 of captivity for once young Gilad Shalit. Tomorrow is Erev Pesach, the day before Pesach [Passover]. Britain holds the power of persuasion to see to the freeing of Gilad Shalit by Hamas immediately.

Britain, your lands are already infested with crickets of Muslims, your population flows with the living blood of millions of Muslims, your airwaves croak like millions of frogs.... Britain, turn back from your Evil, lest you suffer the full wrath of The Miracle Plagues of The Almighty!

BRITAIN, IRELAND, "PEACE" MONGERING, AND ISRAEL: THE OPERA AIN''T OVER TILL THE FAT LADY SINGS.

WHAT DOES THE "PEACE" MONGERING IN NORTHERN IRELAND HAVE TO DO WITH THE "PEACE" MONGERING IN ISRAEL?

A few days ago Martin McGuinness appeared on the Charlie Rose Show. The peace and reconciliation process that former Senator Michel brokered in Ireland continues, and in recent years Protestant Ian Paisley together with Jerry Adams and Martin McGuinness of Shin Fein have "become close friends", says Martin McGuiness, as the three have led the Peace. Charlie Rose asked First Minister Martin McGuinness, whether or not in his opinion a similar peace and reconciliation was possible in Israel between the Israelis and the "Palestinians", and McGuinness responded in the affirmative.

Putting aside a comparison-contrast analysis of the two very different conflicts, there is one great common denominator: British Imperialism and Occupation. We know the historical suffering of the Irish and the Scots at the hands of the British. We know the suffering of the Palestinian Jews and Arabs at the hands of the British (aided and abetted by the French). So it should be clear that the Irish, the Israelis, and the Palestinian Arabs have an historical common enemy: The British.

It has famously been said that, "The opera ain't over until the fat lady sings!" For years now British rhetoric about Israel has been profoundly fraudulent and negative towards Israel, gathering great momentum in the past several years, even achieving a war-like tone in recent months. The British continue to belove the Arabs and to quietly encourage peace in Ireland between the Protestants and the Catholics. This Blog isn't so confident as Martin McGuinness with respect to the "peace" in Northern Ireland, as this Blog is profoundly distrustful of the British. This Blog speculates that the British are using the Irish and the Arabs and perhaps the Persians as well in order to pressure Israel into self-destruction. British propaganda increasingly puts Israel in the awkward position of having to choose between two self-destructive options: surrender Judea-Samaria and incurr the undeniable security risks of doing so, or do-not surrender Judea-Samaria and face world condemnation. Once Israel self-destructs on either "choice" and the British and French regain their former foothold on the MIddle East to "protect" the Jewish survivors, the British will again turn their force against the Arabs and against the Irish. This Blog suggests to Martin McGuinness that the Irish beware the "Fat Lady" that is Great Britain.

THE INHERENT EGOTISM OF VP BIDEN AND AMERICAN POLICY TOWARDS ISRAEL:

PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WAY THEY HANDLE SURPRISES.

People are responsible for their own actions and reactions. This is especially true of public figures, and is crucial to diplomats.

VP Biden's reaction in Israel was personal, when and where it was most important that he react intelligently, thoughtfully, and not personally.

Israel's announcement, that it would proceed with the planning and construction of 1600 new housing units in the Arab Quarter of Jerusalem, could have been responded to very differently.

Imagine, if instead of interpreting the announcement quite publicly as an insult, VP Biden had instead said something like, "No doubt the Arabs aren't happy about this, and this will be one more axe to grind on the negotiating table; nevertheless, I'm here in Israel today on behalf of President Obama to urge re-engagement of peace talks between Israel and the Arabs. That is what I am here to do, that is what I shall proceed to do to the best of my abilities, and I urge Israel, the Arabs, and the media to focus on peace talks. And, speaking of peace talks, the unconditional release of Gilad Shalit might go a long way towards getting those peace talks started."

Instead VP Biden's thoughtless reaction placed the entire US Administration into the role of choir, as President, Secretary of State, et al could do nothing but publicly repeat the same judgement. There is even talk that General Petraeus wants to police "the occupied territories".

It might help mitigate some of the "bull in the china shop" mentality of American policy towards Israel, if the USA would discipline itself to avoid loaded propaganda terms, such as "settlers' or "illegally occupied Arab territory", when speaking about Jews building homes in their homeland, even if that territory is still a matter of legal, political, and military dispute.

THE BLOOD SPILLED IS ALL TOO REAL; THE WORLD CONVERSATION IS A MISFORTUNATE MYTHOLOGY.

ARAB PALESTINIANS ARE NOT MYTHICAL BEINGS, NEITHER ARE JEWISH PALESTINIANS MYTHICAL BEINGS; WHAT IS CRUEL AND USELESS IS THE HATRED AND PROPAGANDA SPEWED FORTH BY BOTH ARABS AND JEWS, WHO AT VARIOUS TIMES IN HISTORY HAVE EXPERIENCED SHARED OCCUPATION BY FOREIGN POWERS, MOST RECENTLY BY EUROPEAN POWERS IN THE TWENTIETH CENTURY.

The world should express sadness and compassion at all loss of life. At the same time, the world should not be blind to the differences of language and culture behind the Arab-Israeli Conflict, nor to the reality that, if perhaps a third of the Arabs currently living within Israeli controlled boundaries prefer the life and protections of a democratic modern Israel, the other two-thirds are indifferent or hateful of Israel and represent a Fifth Column that Israel cannot tolerate and that the world should not require Israel to tolerate.

The world should carry the ball in seeing to an enforced and well-paid resettlement of that Fifth Column. The sooner the world ceases to worship the "false idol" of the idea of a "State of Palestine", then the sooner the killing can stop and peace be realized.

There is no need to bribe or leverage either side or both sides with money or the withholding of money. There is only need to see the realities of past and modern history, which suggest the solution. Proper boundaries and resettlement of the FIfth Column will make for sounder nations able to sustain investments and to engage in mutually beneficial trade and tourism.

Let us stop using degrading language that clouds conversation and incorrectly defines who is who and what is what. The myth of a State of Palestine does not make the millions of Arab Palestinians mythical beings any more than it makes the millions of Jewish Palestinians mythical beings. Every drop of blood that is spilled is real blood, not mythical blood; only the conversation is mythical, for it does not correspond to reality.

Even as I write this, most of the world is programmed to believe that by definition a Palestinian is not Jewish and that Israeli Arabs are oppressed Palestinians; therefore, most of the world may have to read comments such as mine over and over until it sinks in that the term "Palestinian" applies equally to Arabs and Jews -- including exiled Jews living in the Diaspora for two or more thousand years -- and that a "State of Palestine" would deny Jews a secure homeland and at the same time would deny Arabs entry into their natural homelands.

Similarly, the mythical "West Bank" is a European invention of territorial naming; the proper designations for that territory are Judea and Samaria, part and parcel of historical Israel, the singular tiny national homeland of Jews. For every reason the world must support Israel to be whole again as one undivided State; so, too, the world can support the Arab right to return to the many existing States that are their historical homelands.

PRESIDENT BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA CAN STAND UP AND SET HISTORICAL PRECEDENT WITH THE NAME HIS FATHER GAVE HIM.

FIRST, CORRECT THE LEXICON IN THE CONTEXT OF WHICH THE ARAB-ISRAELI CONFLICT IS DISCUSSED; THEN, REALITY MAY HAVE SOME CORRESPONDENCE TO THE TERMS OF DISCUSSION. BOTH JEWS AND ARABS ARE PALESTINIAN. IT IS JUST PLAIN WRONG TO EXCLUDE JEWS FROM THE PALESTINIAN IDENTITY. SIMILARLY IT IS JUST PLAIN WRONG TO DEFINE THE CONFLICT AS AN “ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN” CONFLICT, WHEN IN FACT IT IS AN “ARAB-ISRAELI” CONFLICT.

Once the terms are properly defined, once the distortion of incorrect ‘prescription glasses’ is removed, the reality of the conflict may come into focus. That reality has far greater implications than the world conversation has embraced in the past several decades. Ever since the decisive wars of 1967 and 1973, the world has believed that the scale of the Arab-Israli Conflict no longer ranged outside Israeli controlled borders and that therefore a final peace with the local Arab population could only be a few moments away. The world chose to call the Arabs within Israeli controlled borders “Palestinian”.

“Palestinian” is a term given by the Ancient Roman occupation of the middle east to all the inhabitants of that geography — Israeli, Arab, and everyone else. The British and French and Germans (Modern Romans) applied this Roman lexicon to the middle east, when in modern times they themselves occupied these lands and subjugated these middle eastern Peoples. There never existed a People or a State called “Palestine” except as a subjugated territorial entity of the Romans and the Modern Romans. [Today's Arabs from that geographical area are not identifiable with the "Philistines", although it has been a convenient myth with which the Arabs and Jew-haters propagandize in order to falsely claim an historical claim to Gaza.]

Jews have lived in Israel/Palestine dating back to the times of ancient Egypt. There has been continuous Jewish life in Israel/Palestine throughout history, even during the most decimating occupations by Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Crusaders, Turks, Modern Romans….

The vast majority of Arabs are Muslims, not Christians, and if at street level most people are not motivated by militancy, there are two powerful minorities that are married to militancy. These are the Jihadists, who wage their terrorist utopian Holy Wars; and then there are the Governments of the many Islamic nation-states, who rule by terror and by diversion of attention away from their own repressions by scapegoating Jews and the West; too often they find common cause with the Jihadists.

Israel has no peace with the Arab population within Israeli controlled borders because the Arab Governments don’t want peace with Israel and to this day refuse to make peace with Israel, the well-paid semi-exceptions being Egypt and Jordan. When the world at large understands that the Arab-Israeli Conflict is like a giant iceberg, and that the localized violence that is visible in Israel is visible in the same way that the tip of an iceberg is visible, perhaps then the world can become constructive in the seeking of real solutions. Denial just means ’shipwreck after shipwreck’ and a steady rise in ‘maintenance and insurance costs’.
If President Obama has the courage to stand up to reality, and not just be team leader in a never ending Washington game of “Capture The Flag”, he may make the most of the name his father gave him, declare himself to be the first American Muslim to be President of the USA, and establish a worldwide Muslim precedent demanding worldwide recognition of the State of Israel inclusive of Judea-Samaria (commonly referred to as the “West Bank”); he should suggest the creation of a world fund to support the voluntary emigration and resettlement from Israel of all willing Arab residents living within Israeli controlled borders, who cannot stomach the idea of living in a Jewish State, to the nations of their choice.

More than 1500 years of Muslim expansion in the world has created no shortage of possible destination homes for the Arabs today living within Israeli controlled borders; by nation of origin they may be identified in fact as mostly Egyptian, Saudi, Jordanian, Syrian, Lebanese, Iraqi, Iranian, and Turkish.

All should remember not only the decimations of Hitler; Hitler had many allies including the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and a Muslim world that raped, murdered, and exiled Jews all the way from Afghanistan to Africa and from Russia to Iran. Israel remembers, and yet despite this history 20% of Israel’s voting citizens today are Arabs…. At what point must Israel’s idealism gove way to Israel’s survival needs as a tiny ‘island’ Jewish State in a vast ’sea’ of Muslim States?

President Barak Hussein Obama can make a profound difference and set positive democratic precedents in the solution of the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Israel is already a democracy with two-million Arab citizens. This reality can be preserved and can be a precedent towards liberalization of Arab States to become inclusive and tolerant of non-Muslims. Anything less is a profoundly anti-Israeli, anti-democratic double standard that the world must reject on principle.

GILAD SHALIT, SDEROT, EGYPT, U.N. SECURITY COUNCIL ....

In these past three weeks GILAD SHALIT'S name has been tossed about like a cheap chip on a poker table. SDEROT and other Israeli sites in the NEGEV have been hit repeatedly by Qassam rockets. Egyptian soldiers have aided and abetted terrorists, who have tunelled into Egypt in order to obtain weapons and to smuggle terrorists. Egypt has opened it's border willy-nilly to allow thousands of HAJ pilgrims (and not a few terrorists) into Egypt on their way to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Tsipi Livni makes excuses at every opportunity for Israel's enemies, even stating that real time events such as the daily bombing, smuggling, captivities, hate propaganda, etc. should be disregarded and should be not be permitted to interfere with "peace talks". Presumably there should be no discussion of the ANNAPOLIS AGENDA until some rubber-stamp ratification time, at which time Israel would give away East Jerusalem, Golan, and Samaria-Judea.

All the while the more "peace" Israel makes, the more military necessity drives the reality on the ground. Even the air is related to the ground, if one considers that the September Israeli air raid into eastern Syria took out a facility [probably nuclear] that was located on the ground and not yet in the air. So the Syrian border is HOT, the Lebanese border remains HOT, and the GAZA border is a HEATED incessant "low-grade war" between Israel and the various terror groups operating in GAZA, including HAMAS and FATAH. The biggest money going into Israel now is less about investment in the future and more about imminent war.

Poverty and all the ills that come along with poverty are on the increase and have been for decades. National unity is on such a decline that civil war in Israel is not unthinkable. Certainly national pride has taken a tumble, as has Israeli esteem in the world. Israel should have a permanent seat on the UN Security Council; instead it is the only nation in the UN forbidden to serve on the UNSC, even while Israel's enemies rotate in and out of the UNSC. Israel should have permanent borders, which it should determine unilaterally on the basis of JUSTICE (and this means justice to the treatment of Jews for three thousand years, not the perversion of justice given to us by popular world opinion, which is largely based on ignorance, propaganda, and the romantic revolutionary fad of the moment). Israel should even consider retaking borders it has given away in the expectation of peace, having received only war and terror.

Israel must remind the world that Israel itself in our time is a nation of refugees - Jewish refugees from all over the world - and that today's so-called "Palestinian" people are not innocent in the history of the suffering of Jewish refugees. Until recently the term "Palestinian" referred as equally to Jews as to Arabs and others living in the land labelled "Palestine" by the historical Roman Empire.

Israel continues to be pushed into the Mediterranean; yet, the majority of Israeli''s today seem not to perceive this. In the media Israel has already been truncated back to 1947 borders; Israeli politics itself strokes this process! It is a process that commenced in the 1970's, when Israeli politics gave political credence and life to ideas such as a JUDENFREI state of enemy Arabs to be called "Palestine". This idea gained real flesh in 2005, when Israel abandoned GAZA. Jews can justify bigotry against Jews, even to the point of expelling Jews from their own historical land, land won once again after thousands of years of exile; yet, Jews will not expel the FIFTH COLUMN within the State of Israel that enjoys Israeli citizenship, but, which celebrates AL NAQBA ("The Catastrophe" of the creation of the State of Israel).

Israel may once have thought that, having made "peace" with Egypt and Jordan, PEACE with the remaining world of Islam would come easily by conceding to a "Palestinian" state, even a state run by such as Yasser Arafat. Israel still thinks even now that such a "peace" is so obvious that even the sworn enemies of Israel must see it too and must share the same vision with Israel, even against the tenets of the Muslim Faith! Israel, wake up! You are not at war with just a handful of Arafats; you are at war with all Islam! Islam recognizes no Israel and no Israeli border! Israel does not exist on the Islamic map of the world! It is an illusion to think the problem can be localized and dealth with locally by creating another Islamic state that will hate Israel! Enough! Enough! Enough!

Tonight is the first night of CHANNUKAH. There has been so much tumult the past few weeks pertaining to the Annapolis Summit, and CHANNUKAH commences earlier than usual (by the common calendar), that one may feel as though CHANNUKAH has crept up upon oneself and taken oneself by surprise. One may not even feel ready for CHANNUKAH. Yet, CHANNUKAH is here! CHANNUKAH in a sense is always here, as there has been an ongoing civil war between Torah Judaism and Greco-Judaism since the time of the MACCABEES. Our own individual hearts and minds may be torn between the call of each of these, just as our families may be torn between each of these. In our exile (which could also be spelled exhile), that is to say, in our GALUT, most of us are torn between the maelstrom of surviving in our respective host culture, while attempting to maintain our Judaism. It is never easy. However, concerned as we are about our own individual lives this CHANNUKAH, let us take a few moments, when we light our candles, to keep in mind the captive ISRAELI SOLDIERS, the unending rocketing of SDEROT, and the allignment of the world to isolate, shrink, and destroy ISRAEL. Just as it was the MACCABEES then, who defeated the Seleucids (Greco-Syrians), and who re-established the KEDUSHA of the BETH HAMIKDASH, may ISRAEL and JEWS everywhere be positively infected with the spirit of the MACCABEES, today, this holiday, in our time... may MASHIACH come, unite ISRAEL, and make ISRAEL One and inviolable. AND LET US SAY "AMEN".
